The A Team

I’m extremely excited to announce my becoming part of the A Team! I am officially an Alcon ambassador and I’m so excited to be running their brakes on my car this year.

Currently, my Cayman is undergoing a big off season development program and upgrading the brakes is a big part of this. Because the Cayman is a PDK, I’ve always suffered with my brakes overheating. The ESP is always interfering even with the TC turned off and this causes a lot of heat to run through the rear tyres and brakes. At Snetterton, Pirelli recorded my rear tyre temperatures at 110 degrees! Upgrading to the 6 pot Alcon system will provide much better heat distribution as well as a much greater braking force. I honestly think this is going to transform the car and my driving.
